In reply to: [Better Plugin Compatibility Control] Incorrect maximum version listedHi again!
Is this plugin still maintained?
In the meantime I thought about this issue a bit deeper.
To me it seems as if the intention of the developer was to display the compatibility information not on the latest version, but on the installed version of a plugin – which is an important information, too.
If this is true (is it?), it indeed makes sense to scan the readme.txt files on the local server.
Nevertheless this plugin is lacking of the very important information on the compatibility of the latest available version of a plugin with – to fully know “at a glance if a plugin is compatible with the current WP version” (quotation from the plugin description). This even would point out, whether the latest versions of all plugins would be compatible with a newer available WP version than the one currently being installed.
So, dear Oliver, could you please make also the second half way to the designated meaning of you plugin, showing also the compatibility of the latest available plugin version?
Thank you very much in advance!
Kind regards,
GeraldForum: Plugins

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Tested with WP 5.6?Hi!
Now there is a new update to version 3.58.0.
But still just compatible to WP 5.5.3.
Don’t you develop your plugins for WP 5.6?Thanks a lot!

Hello!
Thank you for your hints.
I also posted the issue on the Google community now, and fortunately I seem to have found a solution:

Hope this will help also others.Kind regards,
GeraldHello!
I tried all your advice.
But after Google having reindexed the landing page of my website, nothing improved – same result as before, although I have shortened and optimized the meta-description.
Why does YOAST have no effect on the landing page in Google search results?Kind regards,

Here is the screen shot of the search result:

I cannot open the pasteboard link – my malware protection says, this site has a trojan.
You did not search for ‘webprogrammierer’ in Google, but for ‘site:derwebprogrammierer.at’, right?
Please try to search for ‘webprogrammierer’ in Google.
One of the first search results should be my website ‘derwebprogrammierer.at’.
And the description is ‘Skip to content. derwebprogrammierer. Überblick. Lösung · Über · Kontakt · Kaufen. Lösung. Eine Website, alle Geräte – Responsives Design. Responsives …’.
Can you see it?
What is happening here?Hi!
No, searching for ‘webprogrammierer’ in Google displays confusing text content in the description for the landing page of my website ‘derwebprogrammierer.at’ (see search result with ‘derwebprogrammierer.at’ as URL and ‘derwebprogrammierer findet Lösungen’ as title).Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] problem ” noindex for sitemap.xmlHi!
Disabling “Include sitemap in HTML format” seems not to be a solution, but a workaround.
@ developer: Why does Google have a problem now with that option being activated?Kind regards,
