In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Calendar display: Start week on SundayWell, that was easy –Thank you so much, Franky!
Thank you!
Thank you for your quick reply! Ok, it turned out that we were still using the
Default event list filtering format that was working yesterday:
#_FILTER_CATS #_EVENTFUL_FILTER_LOCS #_EVENTFUL_FILTER_TOWNSWe were able to resolve the issue. EME auto-updated this morning, and the problem occured after that. When we restored the earlier version of the plugin the location field dropdown reappeared.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Events Made Easy Frontend Submit] Datepicker not working after updateSo sorry – I had updated one but not the other. Now have current versions of both and it’s working fine. Thank you!
While I’ve got you, two unrelated questions: Can you tell me if there’s a way I could insert ads between events in the calendar list?
And is there any sort of function for including an event list in an email newsletter?Thank you!

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] After update, event description appearing above headerFranky, can I get more help please? Now my short descriptions are disappearing. When users submit from front end and when I submit from back end, short descriptions being entered disappear. Without the short description, the entire event description displays on All Events https://happeningsonomacounty.com/calendar/ page.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Post Type for EMEBen, by the way, my web development skills are very basic – I rely on others. Can you tell me if these pages are what you describe? https://happeningsonomacounty.com/calendar/ and http://learnsonomacounty.com/find-classes/
On one we limited the number; on the other, we didn’t. One audit of our websites said Google would penalize for having so many links on a page.
I’m going to follow up on the suggestions on site-maps – Thanks so much to both of you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Post Type for EMEFranky, we chose EME for two community resource websites and love all of EME’s great features. But we’ve struggled for almost three years with very low Google search results for our events. We’ve tried various work-arounds, including event titles and creating special pages to list events, but two SEO consultants have pointed out that Google is not recognizing our individual events and is rarely referring visitors to event listings. The conversation above about post types confirms that event listings aren’t any recognized post-type. We’re reluctantly considering rebuilding the sites with different event software that make event listings pages or posts. Do you have any advice for us? https://happeningsonomacounty.com/ http://learnsonomacounty.com/ Thanks so much!

In reply to: [Events Made Easy Frontend Submit] Unable to submit eventCan’t submit event from front end– Since reporting this problem earlier, outside users are able to submit successfully, but I as admin cannot. I’ve been having to add events from the dashboard. After completing form and clicking Submit button, I get the Submit form again, and do not get the “Your event has been submitted” page. You mentioned checking webserver logfiles – could you please explain further. Thank you!
