In reply to: Fatal Error after 4.2.2 upgrade, no login eitherThanks for your reply James.
I have been using a theme that has not been updated in a while. I read about issues just now with an outdated them giving a fatal error after the update to 4.2.2. So, I renamed that theme like you mentioned with .hold. I can now access my blog and see the entries.
I just tried resetting plugins like you suggested and I still get the same error message with domain.com/wp-admin:
Requested Page Not Found
So, you’re on to something with the theme, but still not getting a login option.

In reply to: Creating new WP site to replace live .html site – need help!thanks cat!! I know there will be some URLs that don’t work, I just didn’t want to have to change ALL of them. I’m fairly confident in the guy doing the work for me, but I always want to know what’s up so I can be involved in the process (and ask questions).
Is there typically a process/plugin/something to lock out the bots and keep that new site from being crawled while it’s in development? Either through WP or through a good hosting company?
