  • My site had critical errors today. I disabled all plugins and it came back up. If I enable Redux Framework 4.5.4, it immediately crashes with a critical error.

    WordPress version 6.7.1
    Active theme: Equant (version 1.0.0)
    Current plugin: Redux Framework (version 4.5.4)
    PHP version 7.4.33

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 18 of the file /home/madpackerindustr/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/redux-core/inc/extensions/search/class-redux-extension-search.php. Error message: Type of Redux_Extension_Search::$version must be string (as in class Redux_Extension_Abstract)

    Hello Michal, the theme is Blackoot lite. I have full access to the files.

    You don’t need to know your password? Only ‘admin’? Can you explain exactly how you log in to the Admin panel to change the password without a password? (minus the condescending attitude if possible..)

    The instructions you refer to are to change not the reset the password.

    Thanks Samboli, but the suggestions that you link to assume that you have the Admin password to login first. That’s not very useful when your password doesn’t work. And as I explained, the email password function simply does not work. Never has worked on any of our sites. Thanks. -Derryl

    I made the line 7572 and the line 33 hacks shown above. I rebooted my server, then on different computers I erased my cache and restarted safari.

    Still won’t show carriage returns. No difference at all. Anyone know why. This is a real deal breaker.

    Using Safari 3.1 and WordPress 2.33

    Has anyone tried this with 2.5?

    I realize ‘carriage return’ is the Enter key, thank you. I only said this as a new user and dozens of attempts later, no CRs were recognized. If I previewed, the first time they were fine and the 2nd preview they were always stripped out. I could never post with a break between anything. And several of the posts would simply disappear.

    I tried again with FireFox and it finally worked normally. Safari 3.0 must be causing serious conflicts with the formatting. Thank you for your reply. -Derryl
