Now if I could just get the searchform at the top fixed, I will be a happy man..

Is there a template overriding my ability to change these features. If so, how do I remove it from the parent theme and add to my child theme?
I have made my own child theme and had a few little successes with change the paragraph font and color, but that is all I can manage to change.
The 100% width option did not work for the topsearch bar, unfortunately
