  • and yep deactivating password protection to my domain allows the plugin to work properly.

good thing to know for the future I suppose.

    Hi Mailchimp!

I’m seeing this error after I attempt to connect my mail chimp account.

from the plugin setting page I hit connect which launched a new window which has my mail chimp creeds pre-populated from my machines keychain. I know these creeds work since I’ve checked in multiple browsers and even a copy of chrome where I never log into mail chimp.

Upon clicking connect I get the error

    “error!

POST to http://team.danceexperience.ca/index.php?mcsf_action=authorized&salt=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&user_id=1 failed with 401: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> <html><head> <title>401 Authorization Required</title> </head><body> <h1>Authorization Required</h1> <p>This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn’t understand how to supply the credentials required.</p> <p>Additionally, a 401 Authorization Required error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p> </body></html>”

I’m wondering if this is due to my domain being password protected. I’m going to disable that and try again.

I’ve changed some of the string to XXXXXXX just in case.

I’m experiencing this same error and I’m not in localhost.

was working last week now… not so much.
