In reply to: Version not working right.I can’t recommend WishList. I have it. It installed easily – but the whole point of WishList is being able to charge members and have them register. For 2 months I struggled with WishList asking for support – and their response was only to send me all the information I had already tried based on the videos and .pdf books they had. Nothing was working and they weren’t stepping in to assist me with real help. So I hired a tech guy – and he saw the problem. Finally WishList provided the code, but after 2 months of struggling and literally begging them to help me, and spending $360 for a tech guy to figure it out, I CANNOT RECOMMEND WISHLIST! Their support was abysmal and basically none existent and the fact that I could not sell my product or get my product up for over 2 months costs me thousands of dollars of revenue. (My package goes for $1,497). Next time I buy something that has better support.

In reply to: Discussion forum integration with WP Wishlist & aMemberoh, – and Wishlist doesn’t tell you but if you have a recurring payment – which is what most memberships are – you can’t use the combination of 1shoppingcart (an industry standard) and paypal. Duh! That would eliminate a lot of merchants’ needs.

I have wishlist and wish I had never bought it. I’m very computer savvy but the code was wrong. After a COUPLE OF MONTHS of begging Wishlist support to actually support their software I had to hire a tech guy to get it done. Then Wishlist stepped in and added some code – but when you pay for software you expect it to work immediately – and that support will actually support it. I CANNOT RECOMMEND WISHLIST. Use something that’s better supported and don’t waste your money on WishList.

I am very computer savvy but the lack of support required that I hired a professional to get the registration working correctly. Then Wishlist still had to step in and add code to my site. I regret buying wishlist and wish I had started with amember or another membership software instead.
