In reply to: Broken image link – can’t find HTML to fix itThanks Vlad,
Yes I’ve been using the code editor but it doesn’t go to html. The website was built by someone else and I’m only supposed to be fixing it, but I think they have not given me enough access to get into all the backend. As an example I can’t access plugins.
Thanks again,

In reply to: Broken image link – can’t find HTML to fix itThanks very much Vlad, but is there a way I can access the HTML? I can easily fix it myself if I can just access the HTML behind the Gutenberg setup.
Understanding how to get around the blockage between the Gutenberg interface and the HTML is important because there will be other things to fix along the way and the best way for me to work is with the HTML itself.
Thanks,

In reply to: Website has disappeared completely! Please help.I tried both of these things but they didn’t work but also tried accessing the remote site through FTP again and was able to get in.
So now the site is restored to a previous version which requires a bit of updating but nonetheless is working. Hallelujah!
Thanks for your input just the same.
Every bit of help helps π

In reply to: Website has disappeared completely! Please help.Me again,
This time I downloaded the “date” file from the wordpress link and then systematically uploaded each new file that the website said it needed (on the page where the website is supposed to appear).
And was up to post.php and now it says this…
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _wp_post_revision_fields() (previously declared in /home/cgibson/public_html/wp-includes/post.php:4682) in /home/cgibson/public_html/wp-includes/revision.php on line 59
Which really doesn’t look good.
Please help,
Jen

In reply to: Website has disappeared completely! Please help. Thanks Ravi,
I have done that now and then it offers other files that need to be uploaded which I have also done until it now comes to this one — wp-includes/date.php
This one is not in the file list. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jen

In reply to: Wishlist WordPress site has disappeared!Well thanks for your suggestion WPyogi.
I did delete the folder but nothing has changed.
The site still says
Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/drawdes/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wishlist-member/core/Class.php(46) : eval()’d code(3) : eval()’d code on line 31This is weird because that particular file and the folder containing it have been deleted.
Before deleting, of course I uploaded an archived version of that file to see if it would fix the problem but that didn’t work.
Now what?
Please assist.

In reply to: Wishlist WordPress site has disappeared!I did post a response to this but the post failed…interesting.
The information is roughly this, after having been in contact with the hosting server people it transpires that the site has not been hacked but that the problem is with Wishlist code.
Now I am a bit lost in the dark however will post further information if and when it comes to hand for the benefit of anyone else who has this problem in the future.
This is an income generating website so the loss of it without warning is hazardous to say the least.
Thankfully my other drawing website at abcyoucandraw.com is hand coded. I will really need to rethink using wishlist for future projects if this problem cannot be resolved very soon.
I guess it’s better to happen on one site rather than 10.
If anyone has any helpful info please do post.
Thanks Jen
