Also, the plugin compatability list doesn’t mean much if the ones I’ve downloaded directly say they’re 2.8 compatible. So I’ve downloaded 2.8 compatible plugins, but my plugin menu isn’t showing the new plugins.
I’m having the same problem. I just upgrade WordPress to 2.8 and when I try to download a new plug-in, they don’t show up.
