I’m building a new self hosted WordPress.org site to replace an existing site & can’t afford to to take down the existing Flash site (http://www.dougsegal.com) while I develop the new one so am building the new one on a “holding” domain (http://www.corporateentertaimentlondon.co.uk/).
Like you I am worried sick that when the time comes I will have spent hours, days & weeks developing my new site only to mess up when changing it to http://www.dougsegal.com
If you manage to migrate your site successfully please would you be kind enough to publish a step by step guide here?
Because, like you, I’m finding everything already published baffling for someone with limited technical knowledge & sometimes contradictory.
