Sorry to reply so late. My server went bananas (Thanx GoDaddy this one was your fault !), took me almost 24 hours to resolve the problem.
Seems like Multisite isn’t working for most people.
I had intended to make a test server so I can test the new 2.x version. Hoping to do that today or tomorrow but I have a lot on my plate at the moment.
Just trying to help out while you guys work to resolve the issues.
Sadly the search feature on the forums isn’t so helpful. Wish WordPress would fix.

I believe the Lightbox support was removed or changed a few builds ago. You try the following :
Lately I’ve been recommending the following :
I use jQuery Lightbox (balupton edition).
Make sure in Gallery->Options->Effects had the following setting :
JavaScript Thumbnail effect: Lightbox
Link Code line: rel=”lightbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]”

You’ll see the download.
After the plugin has been installed you find jQuery Lightbox in the setting section of the admin bar.

Sorry to hear, I have 33,776 pictures, 1463 galleries, and 59 albums. You’ve given me a good scare.
I was considering trying the new version to see what happens. Lately I’ve been able to upgrade without any issues. Now I don’t know.
I think I’m gonna make a test live blog, try and mirror my exact blog and see how nggallery behaves. Gonna take some time.

You have to give them time. They’re gathering all the information.
Major update so there’s gonna be problems. Takes time to investigate everyone’s problem.
They gotta do things one at a time.
Be patient, greatest plugin, always has been so have faith.
If you put the .css in your theme directory you’ll only have to do it once regardless of any upgrade to the nggallery plugin !

You can also download one for free !
