Just wanted to say that I was trying to do exactly the same thing, so this would be of relevance.
I agree that a simple exclude members of this group option would be sufficient.

thanks for clearing that up.
I installed the .po and .mo files in my language.
But now all I can see on the website is “Contact form has been temporarily disabled to prevent spam. Please try again later.” which is really the worst case scenario from a customer standpoint.
wp-spamshield says it blocked 9 spams so it can’t be overwhelming traffic. The page also just launched.
Again, any advice?
