My friend set everything up for me so to be honest I haven’t a clue!

Still can’t log into the admin as of today & all I want to do is put a squeeze page up while I’m making the site!
Otherwise I had not been into the admin before – I got onto my host and they said “I have renamed your htaccess file which was redirecting to the root of your hosting”
