    Thanks very much for the reply. I really need something that will “just work”.

    But nothing in studiopress strikes my fancy. Any opinions on:

    Color Labs Project
    Press 75
    Theme Foundry
    Theme6
    Chimera Themes
    Woo Themes

    Hi,

    Thank you both so much for the suggestions. I’ve found themes that blow away what I’ve previously seen.

    Again, sorry to be so clueless, but if I have reasonable experience with wordpress (have designed a basic site over several months), if I were to purchase a wordpress theme from themeforest, it would generally work the same as those that can be purchased on the wordpress website, through the same style dashboard (I want to generally avoid even looking at HTML)?

    My favorite theme on themeforest is actually an HTML template. To do anything with this I would probably need to hire a designer (or spend months learning), correct?
