Thank you, I resolved my issue. I confirm it was not related to Max Mega Menu.

I did but apparently it is something to do with them Mega Max Menu redefining itself as something else. There are only two options in the template I am using (three if you count the one where no menu is defined): Primary navigation or Footer. I defined both, and if I unactivate the Mega Menu it shows fine that the menu on the top is the Primary menu. What could cause Mega Menu to act as something else that the Primary menu? I use a theme called Point. I checked in the theme and the menu is considered as Primary until it hits the Mega Menu walker.
