Sorry, correction, some of the pages/posts still show the original title/meta description, but all of the focus keywords are blank.

In reply to: [Ultimate Coming Soon Page] format page in 2 columnsSorry, here is the site:
http://dev0.nightowlresources.com/Sorry for that choice of syntax. “Blocking” is what I meant.
Is anyone going to try a different SEO plugin? If so, which one is similar/good? I have heard of All-in-one SEO.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Yoast SEO 3.0.1 update broke page builder – helpYikes, same with all my sites! I don’t use page builder. But can’t edit any posts or pages, won’t even let me go to visual tab. Is there a way to back the update out?
Went through the site and found some HUGE old backup files (like 420M big!). Deleted those and the scan ran a whole lot better. Still gave the message that it was exceeding available memory, but at least the scan finished and the memory went right back down when it was done. I also set the value above to 30 and excluded some other big backup files that can’t be removed. Getting better.
Just noticed that I am also getting the following error on the dashboard: Wordfence Live Activity: Scan can’t continue – stored data not found after a fork. Got type: boolean
I’ve also noticed that during this time, several php processes are started and after I kill them and stop the scan, it takes a very long time for the memory usage to go back down. I mean, it takes HOURS for the memory to go down, and I can see it continuing to start new processes for a while.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, and it started working correctly after a day or two. Maybe the installation glitched the first time or something. Or, like you said, maybe it just took a while longer to start collecting data. It was about a week, and I’ve never had a site take that long for hackers to find it. Thanks for checking the table to make sure everything looked normal there. We’ve had a few sites hacked this week, so it helps to know that the security is working as it should!
Here is the record from the database:
Name: wp_wfBlockedIPLog Engine: MyISAM Version: 10 Row_format: Dynamic Rows: 0 Avg_row_length: 0 Data_length: 0 Max_data_length: 281474976710655 Index_length: 1024 Data_free: 0 Auto_increment: Create_time: 2015-10-26 09:58:17 Update_time: 2015-10-26 09:58:17 Check_time: Collation: utf8_general_ci Checksum: Create_options: Comment:Doesn’t look like there’s much to it. I just installed the plugin a few days ago, so I don’t mind reinstalling, but just wondering why this may be happening.
In phpmyadmin, all the tables are there, there is nothing in the wp_wfBlockedIPLog table. There is data in some of them, and in the wp_WFStatus table I can see records for a scan up to 1000 files, but then it just stops.
I will try removing the plugin and reinstalling.
Okay, I followed all of the items in the document that I could (could not ssh to the server). I deleted 3 different backup installations (one was from 4 years ago) and restored a file to it’s original version that showed as being compromised (the above file). Deleted ALL comments, changed passwords, upgraded all the plugins, made sure WordPress is at the current version, reactivated Askimet, backed up everything about 3 times, deleted “admin” user, and rubbed a lucky rabbits foot. I deleted all of the files that WordFence flagged, except for wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php, which is apparently a false positive. I searched on all of the files for “base64”, and it found a bunch of css and javascript files that have that term, but I think those are legitimate. If I ran a high sensitivity scan, including files outside of WP, and it showed all clean, can I be pretty sure that I got it all?
