Yes. This is solved. I just went back in and manually added the redirects in .htaccess. What I did was took my sitemap.xml file and created 301 perm redirects for all of the posts within that file. Worked like a charm. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link, but I’ve done all of this already and I still can’t get the links that come in from http://www.example.com to redirect old posts to http://www.example.com/blog/ while maintaining my http://www.example.com/index.html.
