Hi again, yes thanks for checking. I found another caching plugin, endurance page cache, that was a hidden plugin from my host. I deactivated that and the issue appears to have resolved.
Hmmm, I have tried the following cache purging options:
I tried clearing cache via autoptimize settings, via the autoptimize desktop header, the cache enabler header (for both this page and site-wide) and then when all caching plugins were deleted, for the wordpress caching page and site.
My hosting (hostgator) does not offer cache as far as I’m aware.
Do you know of any other cache purging options I could try?
Thank you for your reply. So it works fine without refresh for most users, but some do have this issue. Inline and defer is disabled since yesterday and all cache purged again after.
The Google Mobile Friendly test still shows the same issue that some of my clients are getting.
