The fact is, if you HIGHLIGHT the post box, you can see what you have typed. It looks as though the post area is displaying with white text instead of black.
I have the same exact problem. i have FOUR other wp installations running thesis1_7 and this is the only place this is occuring, with a brand new installation. Have reuploaded all files several times. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND A DEAL KILLER!
I’ve tried all these fixes on 2.9.2 and on my latest install nothing helps.
I’m having exactly the same problem with a brand new installation of WordPress 2.91, although mine is in a different location.

When I review the file with my ftp editor, there is no unexpected ‘<‘ that I can see.
