    Hi Karissa!

Sure, I can do that. Here’s an example for you! I searched for “korbin sims round 25”.

    This is the request URL…

    https://api.gettyimages.com/v3/search/images/editorial?phrase=korbin+sims+round+25&fields=id%2C+title%2C+caption%2C+date_created%2C+asset_family%2C+artist%2C+collection_name%2C+comp%2C+thumb%2C+max_dimensions&page_size=50&page=1&sort_order=newest&exclude_nudity=false&graphical_styles=photography%2Cillustration&orientations=Horizontal%2CVertical&product_types=editorialsubscription%2Ceditorialsubscription%2Ceditorialsubscription%2Ceditorialsubscription%2Ceditorialsubscription

The last image is actually the newest but if I look at the order of the other images, they don’t seem to be in any precise discernable order at all.

In fact, if I change to Best Match, Oldest or Most Popular for this particular search, the images returned are always the same and in the same order.

Hi guys, sorry to resurrect an old thread but the latest version (3.0.0) seems to have the same or similar issue where the “Newest” flag either doesn’t work or is ignored.

The latest images for a particular search are not at the top of the list. Does any one else find this?

PS: Love the update though, looks great.

That looks to have solved the issues!

And no need to apologise. More than happy to help out, this plugin literally saves me hours and hours a week in finding my Getty images.

    Thank you!

Here is the console log where “Newest” was the default value and I then changed it to “Best Match”. As you can see, in this example, it seems to be stuck using “Most Popular”

I have the “Newest” filter but it’s still not working.

Switching between “Newest” and “Oldest” gives the same set of images. I’ve tried clearing cookies and browser history.

I’ve checked out the Console log and it seems to always send a sort_order of “best_match” despite clicking on the other options.

Hi guys! I’ve installed the update but still seem to have issues. I’m checking most recent and getting images from 2016 appearing first.

If I put “2017” into the search field then I’m getting newer images appear. Any ideas?

As always, thanks for the quick reply. Your plugin saves me a HUGE amount of time so more than happy to give feedback when I can.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Looks like clearing the cookies has resolved the issue.

Is there a hook we can use in the functions.php to disable AMP on certain posts?

I’m also getting this and would love a way to stop it outside of editing core plugin code.

    Good to hear!

    Thanks for the quick feedback.

Sure, we can try and organise something. As I said, it doesn’t always happen. It’s quite random.

Hi guys, I’ve tried removing the plugin completely and re-downloading but that hasn’t helped. It’s still happening.

    Any other thoughts?

Once it has happened, if I then try and search for the image again via the plugin, the caption and title is broken even in the search so I can’t even just copy and paste it.

    OK, thanks for the reply.

Guess I’ll keep editing it manually until v4 drops.

Hmmm, have done some trouble shooting and doesn’t look like it’s any caching causing the problem.

I don’t actually use Varnish on that domain and disabling W3 Total Cache doesn’t resolve the issue either.
