For others who might have this issue:
The incompatibility of the theme was with the Jetpack Lazy Loading function. I disabled this and the problem was solved. A divi developer tried to fix the bug on their part but this didn’t work.
Now I use the lazyloading function of Litespeed Cache and this doesn’t give any issues with the Divi theme.

thank you for the clear explanation. The conflict test showed it has to do with the divi theme. I have asked the Divi support centre if they can fix it.
There is nothing I can do myself now, right?
