I am running into the same exact issue with WordPress Version 4.9.7 and Events Manager 5.9.4.
I am trying to setup a new wordpress site and getting the error message “Map Unavailable” when viewing my created events. When editing events I see the error message “Location note found”.
The location was created before creating the event.
Let me know of any ideas or any other information you need.

So do I need to recreate all of my categories again?
