In reply to: Migrated to new host – can't log in….Okay, so to make sure I understand before I start. Will this work?
1) Create backups of my site – as is – locally. (already done)
2) Delete everything on the server.
3) Download WP from that link to create a “clean” version of WP on the server.
4) Replace the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content folder on the server with my backup versions.And that will preserve all my posts, themes, and files… right?

In reply to: Migrated to new host – can't log in….The URL seems correct in PhpAdmin. Listed as http://www.begtodiffer.com.
As for wp-login.php, help me out. SHOULD I have modified it when I moved the files? I’m reading that I should’ve used a migration tool. But I did it all manually.

I should note I have a parent (Genesis) and child theme (Lexicon). Renaming Lexicon had no effect. But renaming Genesis broke the login screen entirely giving me this error. Not sure if this helps, but here’s the whole error:

What I mean by “try it” is try any combination at all. Or nothing. The results are the same.

I get the Username and Password prompt, but upon entering both, it refreshes with the same screen but blank again. No errors. Same thing for password refresh.

And yes, the new one is a WordPress.org site.
