How do I remove the whole panel beneath the featured image: with the date and “book this event now” button. I have removed the booking code in formatting but it doesn’t do anything.
Nevermind I have resolved this issue!
I went through the “restore database” procedure through phpMyAdmin with the backup but it has not corrected the changed files.

The blog folder seems to contain the WordPress files (wp-admin, wp-content, etc.). But I don’t see any of the actual content. Is that in the database?
I found a folder called labels with html files for what seem like the old blog entries…when I double-clicked them, I was brought to what looks like an rss page maybe? The B blog icon in orange? with the content…
Ugh what a mess.

There is no option to backup, export or import theme settings in WordPress core.
What’s this then?
IN the Dashboard UNSIGNED (theme)/ BACKUP SETTINGS:
Export Settings
When you click the button below, the WooFramework will create a text file for you to save to your computer.
This text file can be used to restore your settings here on “Thriller writer Jeff Carlson”, or to easily setup another website with the same settings”.
All Settings This will contain all of the options listed below.
Theme Options
SEO Settings
Sidebar Manager This will contain only the custom sidebars themselves and not the widgets within them

In reply to: WP slowed to a crawlI switched to Twenty Eleven and it went back to normal, which means it’s a theme-related problem, right?
So should I uninstall and re-install the theme? Or should I contact Woothemes forum first?
UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING: Is this the proper procedure?
Back up Theme Settings.
Use WordPress Export Tool to export all theme content.
Delete the Theme.
Re-install the theme.
Import Theme Settings and content.
