Thanks Peter! I also had events calender – deactivate and menu came back!
Correction – in the customizer – all content is visible and editable.
I noticed that in the “customizer” there is some flexibility but it only recognizes “pages” and only menus that have already been created. Projects, and a number of features part of Divi do not display, and what does is non responsive.

I’m having the same problem, and I too need my theme and plugins.
I’m using the Divi theme and a number of plugins, the worked perfectly well before the update.
The menu issues are the same as described by essexhypno
