I want to use the slider on a static page. It doesn’t work when i have the code alone with in the template .php file or when I add an image with a link using html.

How do I get the slider to work on a static page with having to add

<?php get_header(); ?>

without this it doesn’t work.

Looking for help from the more experienced.
