Have you tried taking off the first /index.php/ part in the PermaLink Structure, leaving only the:
Permalink: /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
Like in my first post, the Permalink would be:
/2008/02/04/welcome-to-defant-productions/
rather then adding a folder named index.php too.
