Same problem – Query Loop works as expected on the editing screen but not on the front end – it’s almost as if the entire #main div has had display:none applied, as the page title has disappeared and so have the sharing buttons. Updated to latest version of the plugin, still not working. Purged cache, still not working. Disabled the plugin – lo and behold, everything works as expected.
I am using the Storefront theme. No filters, no custom post types, just ‘all posts’. Will leave the plugin disabled until you’ve advised that there’s a fix that actually works 😉
(Edited to add: this is affecting several of my clients’ sites, not just one).

In reply to: [Caxton - Create Pro page layouts in Gutenberg] Fantastic plugin!Actually, I do have a suggestion too… could a future release include the option to put a custom menu into a block? This would be really handy, thank you 🙂
If the worst comes to the worst I’ll just have to have a sidebar on the events pages. But it would be good to know for future reference as there’s a good chance I’ll use the plugin again on other websites 🙂
Hi Angelo,
Yes, both are already installed.
I think it’s possibly a compatability issue with my theme’s templates (I’m using Canvas by WooThemes).
If I set the entire site layout to one-column everything works fine.
However, if I set it to two-column (because actually I do want a sidebar on some pages, like the blog and archives, for example) and then change the ‘events’ page to a single column layout from within the settings for that page (and do the same for the individual event posts), then I start to have problems getting events to show in the listings.
Very odd!
Ideally I want to set the site layout to two-column and then set individual pages and posts to single-column layout if I need to (particularly, the events page and individual events). But the events manager plugin doesn’t seem to be too keen on this idea! 🙂
OK I think I fixed it – discovered there are a few translation options under ‘formatting’ so that’s all sorted.
Event categories though – haven’t yet figured out how to make those bilingual…
