In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] DB Backup Not WorkingDeactivated all plugins one by one, still no good. Switched to 2014 default wordpress theme and still no good.
Sure I can start another thread. But if there was a solution to this one then I wouldn’t mind hearing what it was, in case it would solve my issue also.
Did this issue ever get resolved? I am having this same issue, press DB Backup, it starts the process but then finishes with no backup being saved, just a blank screen after the DB Backup tab.
I run this plugin on many websites across various servers, but never a problem, but just with this website it is not working. I even have this website on the same server as my other websites.
Did you guys ever get this figured out?
I am having this same problem, originating from the “Additional Firewall Rules” section. I enable other things, it adds to the htaccess file no problem. But if I have anything checked in the Additional Firewall Rules section then my whole site becomes inaccessible and I have to restore my htaccess file.
Here is the error code from my htaccess section, hopefully this into will help the developer zero in on the problem.

Yes I am experiencing this same issue. I just noticed it after my upgrade to 3.8.1, but it is possible it could have been an issue before the upgrade since I did not actually check this.
Any solution to this yet?
I am having this same issue here as well, I have posted on the modern tribe forums, I have not yet heard back for a solution, but I am sure they will continue to look at it, I have had good success with their support over there. Not sure what to say, feeling a little silly, but it seems the problem has been fixed. I have been fiddeling with various better wp security settings and eventually gave up. Moved on to upgrade the s2Member plugin and do various modifications to the s2Member Settings. Finished up with s2Member plugin and checked the site on webpagetest.org and it seems the 404 error is gone now. Maybe it was some type of conflict between the 2 plugins or maybe I mis-diagnosed.
Anyhow, the problem is now solved and no more 404 lockouts from better wp security. See clean webpagetest.org here: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/131111_B2_X12/1/details/
Thanks for the fantastic plugin, keeping my website secure.
More detail – if I check the logs from better security I see that the better wp security plogin is logging these 404 errors and locking people out as a result.
Interesting, I was having this same problem contact form 7 submit, arrow spinning endlessly, but the email was being sent. I updated the wp supercache plugin and the problem was resolved. I wonder why supercache is interfering with contact form 7 though?

However when I switch to Month view (for July with no events) it says: “404 Events for July 2013 | Page not found | Worldly Women | Journeys Travel | Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada”
But then if I use the bottom “next” link to get to August where there is an event then it shows a better title, but still not a proper title as it is missing the “Worldly Women | Journeys Travel | Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada” piece tagged onto the end of “Events for August 2013”

I have purchased the Pro version of the Events Calendar for another website I run and LOVE the plugin and the support is awesome over there too! In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Past Events not being displayedYes me too, same problem with past events link showing no events even though I do see the events in the backend. I didn’t upgrade from a previous version though, I installed this for the first time on a new website (I have used the old events calendar on other websites no problem).
I am wondering the same thing myself. I don’t want to enable the upgrade until I know if htis plugin will work. But regardless these “breaking changes” will take effect July 10 whether we want them or not.
I will post back here if I find anything useful on the topic.
