In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I am sorry, but you’ll have to show some patience with me. I’m not very knowledgeable about this stuff.
Single posts. Is that correct?

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I was not playing any games. Anyway, I have made a child theme from Twenty Ten, which I’m using now. I had to get some help doing this, but it seems to be working. All I want to do is have it so my tutorials can be on one column layouts with no sidebars.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I don’t have a blog. I have a portfolio site. But I’ve written some tutorials (which are posts) and I’d like to have a one column layout for each one.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?Again, this is for a page not a post. Also this if for making a bunch of pages from some category. This is not what I am looking for.
I want to know if I can make one column layouts for posts, not pages.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?esmi, I just tried out what was on those pages you linked me to and it did not do what I wanted. Again I reiterate…
I DO NOT want a PAGE template, but a template for my POSTS.
Any help would be appreciated.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I’m no coder so most of that stuff is beyond me, but thanks for trying. If anyone does come along who knows a simpler layman’s way to make this happen, please let me know.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?Alchymyth, I appreciate you taking the time to reply and trying to help. But I’m not looking for an education on templates. All I want to know is there a way to make a one column layout for posts in the Twenty Ten theme?
I know that you can apply a template to pages, but the things I want to be one column are not pages, but posts. That’s all I want to know – if it’s possible and how can it be done.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I’m sorry if I’m not understanding this. I was under the assumption that you could only have a template for pages, BUT I don’t want one column for pages but my posts.

In reply to: Can you have a one column for posts?I don’t want my home page to be one column, I want to be able to make post pages (or whatever you call them) one column.

Mark, thanks a heap! That worked great!
I have the WebDev toolbar, but I can’t figure out how to change anything on the page. I like Firebug because at least it will highlight where you’re at so you know.
The form I’m working on is on this page: http://hide-e-hole.com/adoption-application/
I would like to be able to tidy each section up. Right now it’s kind of a mess and anyone who tried to fill out the form could be confused by the bad alignment of text in each section.
