Did you find any solution to the problem? Same issue happened to me!

Unfortunately not yet.
Do you have any idea how can I appear placeholder for date fields into contact form?
I tried the following but the placeholder is not appeared at my front-end :[date* your-arrivaldate min:2016-01-01 max:2018-12-31 placeholder “Arrival Date*”]

Thanx a lot for your provided info.
I tried the first method (Enable force rewrite titles) but the option is not saved although i save the changes when i click on it. Why does this happen?
I’ll try the second method with the changes at the title element in header.php and i ‘ll let you know if it worked for me.
Ok i think i found the solution. I added the extra fields at message body and it worked well!
