This may be a stupid question…

I’m having a very similar issue only I wanted to give a few details to make sure this is the correct solution for me..

I started a voting poll last week and everything went great! Sadly, I got a complaint from someone in the competition stating that anyone and everyone could vote multiple times. This week I created a new poll and added to the settings, so I could end the multiple votes per person. More specifically I choose the cookie and ip address setting. Then I changed the number of days to 9999 because I know I would manually end the poll in a few days.

This is were the issues arose…

On my computer screen, my phones screen, and another pc’s screen the poll looked great and worked correctly. Soon after I posted the voting poll I had numerous complaints stating that people were unable to vote and there wasn’t even a vote button. So, basically on my side of the website I was able to vote and see the poll, but no one else could!

Question 1. Will the above code fix this?

Question 2. Where do I add this code? <—Stupid question part

Question 3. I use YOP POLL to vote for the weeks best upcoming musician…Is cookie and ip settings the best way to stop multiple voting? whats the advantages of the others?
