I believe the issue originates from my original WordPress.com blog:
I transferred the content over to the new site in August/Sept.
The issue has always existed I believe.

In reply to: Slowness Go Daddy PluginsUpdate: It appears the issue was with Go Daddy. After tinkering around for 5 weeks the slowness issue magically disappeared.
I can’t say for sure what the issue was, but it appears to be with Go Daddy. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again. It obviously hurt traffic.
But all is good for now. 🙂
