what i really ment was splitting up a post. Like the <–nextpage–>, but just hiding the text, and showing it when clicking a read mor link. NOT IN THE MAIN PAGE, cos i know that the more -tag works there. for example we have our latest post http://www.soulinterviews.com/george-duke-part-1-2012/ that has a very long bio text, that we would like to partly hide so that the readers can get to the comments and social buttons more quickly. hope someone understands my question now 😀

i understand. maybe im coming off like a jerk but it really caught me off guard, making me a bit desperate in fixing it, thats just all 🙂

i know youre the best in giving support at this, so i will take your advice, work WITH you and look into it.

my only worrie though, is that things wouldnt be reversible since ive done some modding myself to the theme and everything to make it look like my “customer” wants.

didnt mean to step on any toes

I’ve read that text in the “release notes” or whatnot, but such major change to our site that is frequently visited and just re-released with new design would be fatal.

isnt there any way to discuss and maybe come up with a more plausible cause for the specific problem on soulinterviews.com ? also since everything else seems to work allright, except from our slider that had its css reset.
