In reply to: [Decode] Custom sidebar image/menu overlappingThank you for the suggestion Steven, but I don’t think it would solve the problem as the sidebar div doesn’t really change size. Also I wouldn’t want to loose definition on the sidebar image as it’s the brand for the website and needs to be visible.
The site works fine on phones, I didn’t try it on a tablet yet but I expect it might fall in the 600-1095 width range and have the body text positioned under the image.

In reply to: [Decode] Custom sidebar image/menu overlappingThank you Scott for looking into it. The solution you suggested helps but doesn’t solve the problem completely.
The behaviour varies according to browser window width:
– Width > 1095: works correctly, main area is aligned correctly on the right of sidebar area.
– Width <= 1095: main area gets positioned under the sidebar area. See: http://www.3weeks-later.com/data/sidebar3.png
– Width < 600: enters mobile mode and the main area gets positioned under the sidebar. At 1095 width there is a significant change in behaviour, you can review it on my the development site (currently with left set at 1%).
If you could point me to the styles that control the changes at 1095 and 600 pixels I should manage to fix it myself.
Thank you for the help 🙂

In reply to: [Decode] Custom sidebar image/menu overlappingThe password protection is only for development purposes, there’s nothing sensitive behind it, and I plan on changing it once the issue has been solved. Thank you for the tip though 🙂
