I have some more insight here as Facebook have helped us determine what the problem is.
Apparently the Product IDs in WooCommerce do not match the Product IDs in Facebook’s catalogue on our products. That’s what’s causing the missing events in Ads Manager as Facebook cant reconcile the click on the product from the catalog ad to the purchase on the store.
From what I can see, we can’t edit Product IDs on WooCommerce.
I’m guessing the IDs are being sent to Facebook via your plugin. Do you know why it would be sending a different ID and how we force it to send the right one so everything lines up?

Thanks for our reply and for the extra info here.
It’s super weird, i don’t know why these events aren’t firing and I can’t seem to get to the bottom of it.
We know 100% that the right pixel is being used and what we’re tracking in Ads Manager. The catalog is correctly linked to the pixel too.
The events are being passed back to Facebook as we can see them in Events Manager. It’s just that following ATC, we’re flying blind on Initiate Checkout and Purchase.
