That still has not fixed the issue, which really makes me think that I have something else messed up. I think I need to go through and do a fresh install with the multisite from the beginning instead of trying to convert, because I am apparently missing something.I am going to mark this as resolved, and when I have time to go through and do a fresh install I will come back an update this post if necessary.

I would love to be able to put this plugin on a sidebar, or even a header, but do not have the necessary knowledge to figure it out on my own.
