For me this is unacceptable. I get rid of such applications immediately. I feel sorry if someone pays for it. For my website marketingbiznesu.pl I use other feed app.

do you mean an error caused by logging into the backend?
I got the same issue (when someone try to login to wp-admin backend). After that, WP says that the side is broken and send email to administrator.
How to turn it off?
