In reply to: Subpages and ThemesI am assuming that you can edit it out of your pages.php file. I suggest using HTML comments to comment it out.

In reply to: Sub Directories Within WP 1.5Okay from the beginning.
I already have a site created with alot of static and dynamic content. I am incorporating WP into this site. I want all content to be controlled by the WP Admin interface. Where do my static files go?
1) Should I move my old site out of the httpdocs folder and install WP into the root? Then move my directory structure to the
/wp-content/themes/theme-title/ folder.2) Should I leave my static files in place and install WP where it would logically go? For instance:
mysite.com/personal/wordpress3) Or is there another way

In reply to: Subpages and ThemesI am asking the same question. However, you need to understand that there are 3 kinds of pages.
1) WordPress Posts – You can make changes to these through the WP Admin system. For your writings that you would expect comments.
2) WordPress Pages – You can also make changes to these through the WP Admin system. However these are stored in the MySQL DB and appear on your site as yoursite.com/?page_id=4
3) Static Pages – This is probably what you are most familiar with, as you have created these in the past with Notepad or Dreamweaver. You still need to use one of these applications to create these pages. And the content is not controlled by the WP Amin System

In reply to: Sub Directories Within WP 1.5Do these files and sub directories occur from the root of the WordPress installation or within my theme folder. Such as
1) ./
or
2) ./wp-content/themes/theme_folder/
