Hi,
Thank you for pointing this out.
You are right: if there has not yet been a plugin update that stops the WonderPush scripts from loading when push notifications are disabled, then this should not be considered fully resolved from the user side.
We have escalated this behavior to the relevant technical team for review. The expected behavior is that WonderPush-related scripts should not be loaded when the push notification feature is disabled, unless they are still required by an active configuration.
At this stage, I do not want to provide an inaccurate timeline before the fix is confirmed in a public plugin release. We will follow up once we have confirmation that the correction is included in an available version of the Brevo plugin.
Meanwhile, if the script loading is causing a performance or compliance issue on your website, please open a support ticket from your Brevo account and include:
- your WordPress plugin version;
- confirmation that Web Push/push notifications are disabled;
- an example page where the WonderPush scripts are still loaded;
- a screenshot or browser network trace showing the WonderPush requests.
This will help our technical team link your case to the ongoing investigation.
Thank you for your patience.
