In reply to: Client’s website Crashed/Critical ErrorI don’t quite remember what it said as it was on Monday night when I got it resolved. It was a pop-up maker that was the issue.
‘Swap the theme and those pages come out as shortcode text. You rebuild each one by hand. So count the pages before you give her a timeline.Also worth asking what she actually wants. If it’s just a different look, a child theme over Enfold does that with nothing to rebuild.’
The issue with this is that I have spent 2 months perfecting a 10web website that I was going to switch over to her WP Admin. I did this so that I didn’t have to take down her site or move her url anywhere else. Now we have the 10web website in its own WP Admin basically that I need to move over.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Client’s website Crashed/Critical ErrorSorry, I forgot to mention, but she did receive her email and we got the site recovered through a wordpress piece.
I will get her to get into flywheel as that seems a very important step. Ultimately I would want to take out her current enfold child or something theme & put in a custom theme. This was my main worry with wordpress & the theme part of it vs being able to transfer the site easily.
I do have her staging flywheel login, where from what I was reading, is where I should test it almost by importing the website & testing out errors.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Client’s website Crashed/Critical Error@myitech would you want to walk me through this? I am a bit confused because apparently she doesn’t have access to her flywheel.com log in where I’d imagine hosting would be, just like godaddy.com etc.
Another question is that, say I am not able to figure out this transition – how would I even transfer her domain to point to (say me 10web) account on there and just left it & had her pay $10-20/month. The ultimate goal was to get this going on her wordpress account yesterday. If there’s any help I could get, that’d be great & also would hop on a zoom to do so.Forum: Fixing WordPress

Would you say it’s possible to transfer a 10web website into wordpress?
