I solved the problem. The reason was an old version of the plugin “Jquery Validation For Contact Form 7 (Lite)”. Now it works. Thanks for support.

we use such an old wp version cause there are some individual customized parts that have to be updated first. But no time for this right now.
But this problem was still there as this wp version was nearly current. What could be the reason and how can I get the right translated error message?
