I found the problem!
I had a custom define( ‘WP_PLUGIN_URL’) path within my wp_config.php file. After removing that – everything works fine.
Some more info:
For some reason i cannot see the “generate tag” button also. I have deactivated and deleted all other plugins except CF7 and using the default theme.
One more thing: I am connecting to remote database, while the wp files are on my localhost. Could that be a problem? I did make a clean WP installation (DB and files on localhost) and WP7 is working like a charm…
I did switch off all other plugins and changed the theme back to Twenty Eleven – the code field is still blank.
Any other suggestions?
