In reply to: Problem with Admin panel after 2.6.2 upgradeThanks for your help. It was an admin login problem. I went into the database using phpMyAdmin and found the admin id. Then I asked for a new password. Logging in with the admin id, I now have the Design option.
Thanks again,

In reply to: Problem with Admin panel after 2.6.2 upgradeHi again-
I emailed the previous person then asked WP for a new password. The response was that there’s no user id “admin”. So. . . perhaps the upgrade didn’t work correctly??
Thanks,

In reply to: Problem with Admin panel after 2.6.2 upgradeNo. I log in with the user name of the site owner. I entered “admin” in the login screen with no password, and it said incorrect password. So I guess there is an admin user id (since it didn’t say no such id).
Is there any way to recover the password without having access to the person’s emails? I guess I may have to email her and then ask to recover the password. Hopefully, she’ll send me the system response.
Thanks,

In reply to: Problem with Admin panel after 2.6.2 upgradeOh sorry. Design is what I’m missing. Sorry for the confusion.
How do I find out if there is a main admin? I’m signed on as the site owner, but the administrator may have been the previous webmaster (who’s basically no longer available).
I was just on the main blog page and clicked on “Site Admin” which took me to the dashboard. I’m still missing the Design link.
Thanks,
Dana
