In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Working with both CDN and Cloudflare“My understanding is Cloudflare works like a CDN, caching data. “
CloudFlare is a CDN that caches static content by default.

In reply to: Anti Virus and MalwareHi,
Our basic security should help to some degree. If you’re looking for more advanced protection, then the CloudFlare Web Application Firewall and some of our optional apps will provide further protection.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Suggest – adding "Purge cache" to Cloudflare menuEven if W3TC doesn’t offer the option, or don’t plan to, you can use the CloudFlare API to make the call as well.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] w3totalcache and cloudflare partner program cpanel interface“On Cloud Flare if I go into the DNS settings it directs me to goto the control panel of our Cpanel.”
That’s because DNS is still managed by your provider and not CloudFlare. We can only provision CNAMEs through the hosting partner.
“In the Cloudflare setup of w3tc there are setting in it that go to Cloudflare will it w3tc work with our setup?”
Can’t think of any reason that W3TC wouldn’t still work. It is important to note the primary reason for CloudFlare in W3TC is to restore visitor IPs at the WP commenting level & is not related to CloudFlare’s caching at all.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: broken wp-cronWe can probably take a look with the specifics via a CloudFlare support ticket. We really need to know the domain and subdomains at play here.

In reply to: [SEO Facebook Comment] Does not work with active CloudflareMy hunch is that this may be Rocket Loader. Does turning that off in your CloudFlare performance settings fix the issue?

In reply to: Cloudflare and Comment Quick Edit revisited…Hi,
That appears to be an issue with email obfuscation. You can probably solve it by creating a Page Rule to turn off performance and security features in the admin section of your site (recommended).

In reply to: Redirect loop with WordPress & CloudflareHi,
It looks like you activated through a hosting partner, which would generally add the redirect for the A record (creativevisualart.com) to http://www.creativevisualart.com so we can proxy and cache the requests. The loop is being created because your default setup is saying send http://www.creativevisualart.com to creativevisualart.com.
Note: While confusing, activating through a hosting partner only allows us to provision CNAME records…so that’s why forwarding the root domain (an A record) is generally recommended

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total cache minify not working with Cloudflare.Shouldn’t be impacting this at all as long as you’re not using both (CloudFlare and W3TC).

In reply to: Unable to access admin dashboardAre you restricting login access to certain IPs? If so, our IPs are going to show in logs until you install something like mod_cloudflare.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Loads slow when I use CloudFlare – why is that? This is probably an issue with Rocket Loader. Does turning that feature off fix the issue? If yes, you should file a ticket with support so we can have an engineer take a look at it.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] "The plugin does not have a valid header" upon activationIt’s inaccurate, as communicated in the email with cloudflare support, Damon (whom I believe responded to this thread), I am using the latest version of WordPress 3.5, at this point, there is no newer than that. “
This is not our primary support channel. I directed people to support so we can investigate further. We need real examples to work on any, including the domains being affected. My personal wordpress blog did not have this issue with the plugin at all.“Worpress 3.5 is released on 11 Dec 2012; cloudflare plugin has not been updated since “Last Updated: 2012-11-2”. Go figure. “
The plugin was actually compatible with the most recent version, regardless of the update. What it looks like, however, is that something for some users was downloading something extra and we just pushed a fix that should alleviate the behavior. If you are still having issues with the plugin, try to remove and re-install. If you still have issues, please contact us via the support link provided earlier. We will see if there is something else still causing the behavior.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] "The plugin does not have a valid header" upon activationHi,
Everything we have looked at actually indicates the users are using an older version of WordPress (not the most recent version). If you’re still having issues with this and you’re using a recent version, then please contact CloudFlare support so we can have an engineer take a look at it. Be sure to include the version number of WordPress in the ticket.

In reply to: [Bad Behavior] CloudFlare compatibility?Should totally be fine as long as you have the proxy thing configured properly.
