I too have the same problem and I dont really want to go through all the upgrading so which version of wordpress works with mysql 4?

Yeah i just downloaded and manually installed it. I’m also having the same exact problems with just the word array in all the text fields in the admin panel also the user page is blank.
Hope someone finds a answer for this.
