In reply to: error when trying to edit widget?This was a fresh install with only 2 plugins activated – widgets sidebar per Auttomatic plus Akismet. We’ve deleted the plguin and replaced – same story. which sounds like a DB error somewhere but…???

In reply to: Trackback hellOk – having read through the documentation and your comments, it might be useful to note that the explaantion of this functionality is misleading because in this particular case, WP sent over much more text than I would have expected. In the alternative, are there settings in the php that can restrict the amount of text – like a trackback – which is sent yet retain the benefitsthat pingback provides?

Upload is FTP, permissions are all OK – why would I want to use command line when cPanel is available to me?
