Hi diderjm,
Did you find a solution? Just starting to work through a similar issue.
Hi,
I went through the same panic, and should have been clearer in my answer. Somewhere Tips and Tricks has a good blog post on this. When I get time I will look for it. If you go to WP Security — Settings — Advanced Settings and change the setting from “REMOTE_ADD” to something like “HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP” It should get rid of the problem of showing two logins. (I will see it I can find their post as I get time — I hoping I’m remembering this correctly).
I have a couple sites. On one I changed the setting and don’t get two log-ins showing when logged in to my site and the Cpanel. The other I never bothered to change and if I’m logged in to the site and Cpanel will show two log-ins. MY IP and my host IP.
Personally, I like All In One Security. Having used it and learned about it for a year — I’ve developed a level to trust in the product. I hope this helps.
Yes, you can get two logins showing if you login to WordPress and do an action which causes your web-host to login. Check to see if the other IP is from your host.
