Getting same error message when trying to use Simple Facebook Connect plugin with posts. error indicates problem with callback URL not being correct. Tried many solutinos but nothing works. Is there an issue with Permalinks not being accepted by Facebook protocols?

In reply to: Admin screen not workingSebaztian here is a tip that helped me to get access to the widgets. You can add and delete them but drag and drop does not work.
“Failing that use accessibility mode on the widget page – At top right select Screen Options -> Enable Accessibility Mode.
Ï’m still looking for a solution to visual editor white screen and missing menu buttons. Let me know if you get any solutions for that or complete solution for widgets.

I will try this approach but I really think that it is a wordpress & javascript issue as I have seen a number of other posts referring to similar problems with screen, visual editor and widgets meta boxes freezing. I think that the javascript solution suggested by rhyaniwyn in post below is the way to go on this but I do not know enough about javascript to search my code and find offending problem. Do you think that this is possible problem and do you have any suggestions for a tool that I could use as a layman to get this resolved. thanks

In reply to: Admin screen not workingyes I tried different browsers and machines and same problem. I have fresh install now and problem reappeared again. Is it 3.3.1 issue? My host had advised me to use this version for security reasons but now I am getting to point of despair. What version should I downgrade to if I cannot get fix for 3.3.1.?

I have tried a number of the solutions suggested but nothing works. I am scared to reinstall wordpress with a lower version because of customised plugins and security issues which my hosting provider warned me about. It is not clear if upgrade would really resolve my problem anyway. Has anyone found a better answer to this problem. I really need to find a fix for this as my website is dying before my eyes. Apologies but I am new to this world so do not know etiquette yet and it appears from growing number of reports on net that this is a real problem with 3.3.1
