and thanks for your feedback. We have added your suggestion for adding the ability to remove the menu “Hide self view” via the settings of the plugin to the product backlog for future implementation.
Meanwhile, you can enable the word “profile” in the csv value of the settings parameter of the plugin which will cause the Settings-> Profile menu to appear in the Jitsi window. Jitsi team has put a “Hide self view” checkbox in there that allows you to unhide your self view.
Here a a sample short_code configuration that enables the profile menu:

every task has a menu at the top right to corner. One of the options there is to delete the task. If you cannot see such a menu, it might has to do with your theme or your installed plugins.
You can either give us access to the page with the problem so that we can check the cause or to send us information about the theme and the plugins you have installed so that we try to reproduce it.

and sorry for the late reply. We had apparently to subscribe to the plugin to take notifications for support requests.
When you create a new group you have to enable BuddyTask from its settings. After that, a new BuddyTask menu appears inside the group where the board for that group is located.
By default, the board is accessible only by the group members. In future versions you will be able to change that.
